Michele grew up in Southern California, but spent most of her summers in Cape May, New Jersey. Michele's mother grew up back east and spent her summers at the Jersey shore, and so did her Mother. Michele's "Cape May" bracelet was inspired by the whimsical colors of the Victorian homes, the cobble stone sidewalks, walks down the old boardwalk to sample fudge and salt water taffy, riding bikes to the store to get milk for Mom, helping her Grandma mark her Bingo cards at the local church, and the smell of the seashore at night. Michele and Andy try to keep the tradition going by spending time in Cape May every other year. Chalcedony in aqua, butter yellow and blue are met with freshwater pearls and turquoise calcite. Sculpted beads with flowers, hearts, stars and dreams meander. Bracelet extends up to 8". All sterling silver. Lobster clasp.
